Perfect weather
Extra time with Jack today
A playmate for Jack
A tent for Christmas from my fun-loving in-laws
The fun of setting it up with two five year old boys this afternoon
A safe backyard for my kids to play
A camp out with my two big kids

Fridays are normally sleepover night for my kiddos, which means they take turns sleeping in each other's rooms.  They love it...well, the idea of it.  Sometimes it works and other times they end up back in their own beds.  Tonight we are opting for a campout in the back yard as our sleep over.  I'll be joining them!

GRATITUDE 58 Reminders I needed today

"Where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more." Romans 5:20

Thankful today for these truths...  Today, my sinful heart needs to remember the abounding grace of the Lord that covers me...that Jesus came for such as me!!

For sprouts and sprouts and more sprouts...somehow I am surprised it's actually working! HE HE
For God's AMAZING design of the earth.  incredible
For time to rest and think on his heart of love

GRATITUDE 54 He chooses better for me

I love this quote.  And on days when I face some of the difficulty and brokenness God allows in our life, I remember this and am encouraged.  Thankful today for this TRUTH!!!

Thankful today that I can (by his grace) resign certain hard things to God
That I can by his grace, see his hand in the hard dispensations of our life
Thankful that he DOES choose better for me than I could for myself.
Thankful that he gives me hard things when it's truly best for me.

Thankful for the joy and peace I have knowing that my ALL LOVING FATHER has chosen better for me than I could possibly for myself.

That brings a joy that is not dependent on my circumstance.  And that is a gift.
