5 Little Monkeys part 2

Well yesterday we had a "5 little monkeys" part 2 photo shoot. This one is a little different in that Aria and her parents have moved back to America and Callie and her parents, Jeremey and Anita are back from Canada, where Callie was born about 2 months ago! You can see little Callie in the middle, being "held" by Julianna, the biggest of our crew. Alisa, mom of Kayleigh (red haired babe), Laura, mom of far left Lydia and Julianna, Anita and I are starting a mom's group. Last semester we had a "play group" where we would get together with the kids so they could hang out and we tried to hold a conversation while taking care of all these youngins-let's just say conversations were scattered and interpersed with nursing, feeding, diaper changing, discipline, etc. So this semester, we are starting a mom's time with no kids-except nursing ones of course. We are planning to meet every other week and discuss a book we are reading together, called the Pursuit of God. It will be a fun time for us to talk, pray together and just have some no-kid hang out time!

Emma Grace is very interested in baby Callie! Anita ran over to get her camera and got the attention of 3 out of the 5...
still don't have everyone looking at the camera...Maybe Julianna is telling her little sister what to do. I was like that as a big sister.

What a great picture! Enjoy them, the babies & the girlfriends, while you can. The babies grow up so fast and friends move away far too quickly!!

FYI - the way to get every child in a group to look at you when taking pictures is to yell "COOKIE". They'll look and smile!! Of course, you'd better be prepared with a suitable reward (that cookied you mentioned) or the next picture will be of crying, pouting kids!!

Love Ya!
